Senior Product React Native Engineer (iOS), Order & Subscription

HelloFresh is a global technology company building digital products that power end-to-end food experiences including meal kits, ready-to-eat meals, pet food, and premium meat & seafood. Its HelloTech organisation consists of over 1000 people creating platforms that serve millions of customers monthly. The role is part of the Consumer Alliance at HelloTech, specifically within the Order & Subscription tribe and Deliveries squad, focusing on delivery planning, tracking, and scheduling experiences across mobile and web apps, supporting millions of customers globally.

• Hands-on experience with AI tooling such as Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot beyond casual experimentation
• At least 2-3 years of hands-on experience with React Native
• Minimum 5 years experience with Mobile or Web technologies
• Nice to have: working knowledge of native iOS development (Swift/Objective-C, Xcode, CocoaPods/SPM) sufficient to debug, extend, or write native modules and bridges
• Proficiency in building component-based architectures
• Understanding of seamless integration of frontend and backend services
• Familiarity with CI/CD workflows and testing practices (unit, integration, end-to-end testing)
• Strong collaboration skills with engineers, product management, and UX designers
• Ownership mindset with bias to ship and finish tasks
• Product sense backed by data and user evidence
• Strong mobile engineering expertise including app release cycle, test automation, on-device performance, and platform UX conventions

• Build and improve delivery and order flows in React Native apps from problem definition through production and measurement
• Run experiments on high-traffic revenue-critical surfaces and use results to decide next steps
• Collaborate with engineers across departments and company to improve codebase, systems, and processes
• Design and develop scalable solutions
• Support team members via workshops, pair programming, and code reviews
• Work beyond specialization when necessary
• Operate and improve built systems in production
• Own app experience metrics reflecting customer quality (delivery accuracy, crash-free sessions, performance)
