Senior Business Analyst

• 5+ years experience as a Business Analyst in fintech, banking, or PI/EMI with core banking or payments capability delivery
• Strong knowledge of EU and UK banking domains including multi-currency IBANs, correspondent banking, and safeguarding
• Deep expertise in payment rails and transaction lifecycles including SEPA (SCT, SCT Inst, SDD), SWIFT, Faster Payments, BACS, CHAPS
• Solid understanding of double-entry accounting, ledger logic, and general ledger structures
• Ability to work with Engineering on system architecture, API contracts, event-driven integrations, service interactions
• Comfortable reading API documentation, process flows, sequence diagrams, and technical specs
• Strong business analysis skills: process modelling, requirements decomposition, acceptance criteria writing, structured documentation
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

• Own requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation across core banking product domains (accounts, payments, cards, FX, fee management)
• Define and document end-to-end payment flows across EU and UK schemes
• Translate money movement, settlement, and accounting logic into functional requirements with Finance and Engineering
• Define requirements for settlement and correspondent account operations, including reconciliation and safeguarding
• Convert regulatory and compliance obligations into functional specifications and acceptance criteria
• Collaborate with Engineering on API design, system integrations, and solution design
• Break down initiatives into structured delivery artefacts ensuring traceability
• Coordinate and support UAT, business validation, and stakeholder sign-off
• Identify gaps in operational processes and internal tooling
• Manage scope, dependencies, assumptions, and stakeholder alignment across workstreams
