Starszy Specjalista ds. Ochrony Danych Osobowych (k/m)

Polkomtel Sp. z o.o. is recruiting for a senior specialist in personal data protection located in Warszawa. The role involves ensuring compliance with data protection regulations and supporting risk analysis and audits within the company. The position offers employment under an umowa o pracę with a hybrid work model after onboarding, located initially at ul. Konstruktorska 4 with a planned move to Al. Stanów Zjednoczonych 61A in 2027.

• Higher education, preferably in law or postgraduate studies in personal data protection.
• At least 3 years of experience independently working on personal data protection processes.
• Experience conducting risk assessments, DPIA, document review, and requirements formulation for projects.
• Knowledge and ongoing monitoring of personal data protection regulations.
• English language proficiency sufficient for business communication and document analysis related to data protection.
• Process-oriented approach and ability to manage priorities with many time-sensitive tasks.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Timeliness, commitment, and accuracy.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of ISO 27001 standard.
• Knowledge of electronic communications law, new technologies, cybersecurity, AI Act.
• Ability to formulate opinions, conclusions, and recommendations based on factual and legal analysis and communicate them clearly.
• High attention to detail with understanding of broader context.

• Participate in projects by reviewing compliance with personal data protection laws, identifying risks, recommending solutions, and supporting regulatory compliance.
• Identify risks related to personal data processing and conduct risk analyses and Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA).
• Prepare and conduct data protection audits.
• Create, review, and update documentation and procedures regarding data security and protection.
• Monitor and recommend changes to improve processes for compliance with data protection laws.
• Co-create, analyze, and review documents, information clauses, and consents concerning data protection.
• Monitor changes in regulations and guidelines by the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection (UODO).
