Data Architect with German

LinkGroup is hiring for a Data Architect role focused on designing and modernizing enterprise data platforms in the cloud for major clients in the DACH region.

• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Data Architect or Data Platform Architect.
• Deep expertise in AWS Data Analytics services, especially AWS Data Lake and EMR.
• Strong background in Hadoop, Spark, and workflow orchestration with Apache Airflow.
• AWS Certified Data Analytics (Specialty) or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
• ITIL Foundation Certification.
• Fluent German (C1/C2 level or Native) is mandatory; fluent English for team collaboration.
• At least 4 relevant project references over the past 8 years demonstrating major architectural capability.
• Practical experience leading delivery in Agile/Scrum environments.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, Terraform.
• Experience in regulated industries or financial/enterprise sectors in the DACH region.

• Design and implement scalable cloud data platform architectures using the AWS Data Analytics stack including Data Lake, EMR, S3, Glue, and Redshift.
• Architect high-throughput data processing pipelines using Hadoop, Spark, and Apache Airflow.
• Establish automated CI/CD deployment pipelines and infrastructure management.
• Define and enforce data classification, privacy, security, and lifecycle management standards.
• Lead complex end-to-end data migration from legacy/on-prem systems to AWS cloud environments.
• Collaborate with business leaders, product managers, and engineering teams in an Agile/Scrum environment using Jira, Confluence, and MS Teams.
