IT Director (Hybrid: Barcelona or Warsaw)

Docplanner serves 300,000 doctors across 13 markets, handling over 20 million appointments a month. The company aims to be the operating system of healthcare powered by AI, supporting distributed teams working quickly, securely, and cohesively worldwide.

• Experience leading IT in a complex, multi-country organization with knowledge of varying regulatory expectations and the balance between global standards and local flexibility.
• Ability to differentiate technology problems from broken processes, unclear ownership, or impractical policies.
• Experience treating IT service as a product, using data to identify productivity losses and fix root causes.
• Expertise in building security and resilience into operations, including identity management, access control, endpoints, data handling, continuity, and practical security controls.
• Commercial and operational discipline managing budgets, vendors, licenses, assets, and technology portfolios.
• Proven leadership in managing change and building strong, accountable teams.
• Effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical leaders, especially regarding complex decisions.
• Experience integrating automation and exploring AI applications in support, knowledge management, provisioning, analysis, and controls.
• Prior experience managing IT environments through scale or transformation is preferred.

• Own the global strategy and operating model for workplace technology and IT service delivery, including end-user computing, identity and access, device lifecycle, collaboration tools, office connectivity, service management, asset and license management, vendor relationships, and operational resilience.
• Collaborate closely with Security, Business Systems, People Experience, Finance, Legal, Procurement, and organizational leaders.
• Lead and develop a distributed IT team, establish clear priorities and service standards.
• Build and execute a roadmap balancing reliability, security, colleague experience, and cost.
• Identify and resolve recurring issues permanently rather than repeatedly handling tickets.
• Ensure IT enables smooth onboarding and offboarding, timely provisioning of devices and access, and predictable resolution of common issues.
• Create clear accountability and foster team development, promoting proactive, outcome-focused work.
