Senior MCAD Engineer / Mechanical Design Engineer (Automotive)

The position is for an Expert MCAD Engineer supporting an Automotive Compute project within the Technology industry in Poland. The role requires expertise in automotive product development, mechanical design in NX/Teamcenter environments, and handling technical documentation and release processes.

• Minimum 5 years of experience using Siemens NX 11/NX 12.
• Proven experience in plastic part design and die-cast component design.
• Strong understanding and practical application of GD&T.
• Experience creating and maintaining manufacturing and technical documentation.
• Ability to work independently and manage assigned deliverables with minimal supervision.

Nice to have:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the automotive industry, preferably in the development of automotive electronic hardware products.
• Practical experience with Teamcenter.
• Experience with sheet metal design.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Strong team collaboration skills and experience working in international engineering environments.

• Independently develop and modify 3D CAD models in the NX/Teamcenter environment according to project requirements and engineering standards.
• Create and maintain technical documentation applying Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles.
• Prepare and optimize 3D models for thermal and structural analysis as well as prototype manufacturing.
• Participate in the release process for technical documentation using Teamcenter and GES.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to ensure timely completion of design deliverables.
• Support design reviews and implement engineering changes throughout the project lifecycle.
