Senior Java Software Engineer

Prime Force is a European consulting company building advanced knowledge management systems. They cover the full software lifecycle including technology selection, design, development, testing, and maintenance. The Polish team specializes in content management platforms, process digitization, and AI solutions.

• Very good knowledge of Java and practical experience with Spring or Spring Boot
• Experience designing REST API, system integration, and working with databases
• Experience using AI tools supporting software development such as coding agents, agent skills, MCP servers, and willingness to learn new skills in this area
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS or Azure
• Ability to write clear, testable code and automated tests
• Experience diagnosing issues in production systems and working with existing code
• Knowledge of Git and basic CI/CD processes
• Independence in making technical decisions and communicating their consequences
• English language skills at least at B2 level for daily collaboration with clients and team

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Hyland Nuxeo, Alfresco, Documentum, or other Enterprise Content Management platforms
• Knowledge of application security topics and OWASP practices
• Knowledge of LangChain or other frameworks for creating AI solutions
• Experience with enterprise data migrations or system integrations
• German language skills sufficient for project communication

• Designing backend services, APIs, and integrations in Java
• Developing and customizing Enterprise Content Management platforms, especially solutions based on Hyland Nuxeo
• Analyzing requirements and translating them into long-lasting technical solutions
• Creating prototypes, validating technologies, and implementing improvements
• Diagnosing complex errors and improving application performance, security, and reliability
• Writing unit and integration tests and participating in code reviews
• Collaborating with architecture, DevOps, testing, and client business teams
• Preparing technical documentation and knowledge sharing
• Participating in project meetings and supporting estimation and planning
