Senior Devops Engineer

Prime Force is a European consulting company building advanced knowledge management systems. The Polish team specializes in content management platforms, process digitization, and AI solutions. They handle the full software lifecycle including technology selection, solution design, development, testing, and maintenance.

• Experience planning reliable tool deployments and disaster recovery testing
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Practical experience with Kubernetes and CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Argo CD
• Ability to build monitoring and alerting with Grafana or similar tools
• Understanding of web application architecture and dependencies between application, database, search engine, and messaging layers
• Independent diagnosis of production issues with clear communication of risks and recommendations
• Good knowledge of Linux, networking, TLS, DNS, and access control mechanisms
• Knowledge of AI tools supporting software creation and maintenance, with willingness to develop skills in this area
• English language proficiency at minimum B2 level

Nice to have:

• Practical knowledge of MongoDB production environment including replication, sharding, indexing, backup, and query optimization
• Practical knowledge of Elasticsearch and Apache Kafka
• Familiarity with Azure and infrastructure automation using Terraform or Ansible
• Experience with Helm, Kubernetes operators, and GitOps approach
• Knowledge of Java application environment and enterprise-class systems
• Practice in DevSecOps, vulnerability scanning, and disaster recovery
• Cloud or Kubernetes related certifications
• German language skills sufficient for project communication
• Knowledge of Enterprise Content Management systems such as Documentum or Nuxeo

• Monitor database performance and create dashboards and alerts in Grafana
• Maintain components in Kubernetes and automate changes using CI/CD
• Diagnose problems at the interface of MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Apache Kafka, and web applications
• Prepare operational documentation, runbooks, incident reports
• Design, perform, and regularly test backups and recovery procedures
• Secure data during storage and transmission and develop access control and secrets management

Remote work from Poland or hybrid in Warsaw. Employment contract or B2B contract offered. Project language is English; German is an additional advantage. No fixed 24/7 on-call duty; on-call arrangements are project-specific and agreed beforehand.
