Senior Full-Stack Engineer

We build incentive compensation software that calculates salesperson commissions, quotas, and payouts with exact and explainable results. Our small team develops the entire product including a .NET calculation engine on Azure, a large React frontend, and underlying infrastructure. This role is for the next engineer to join and own the product end-to-end.

• Serious backend experience in C# / .NET with production service design and operation.
• Real frontend ability in TypeScript and React, capable of owning features end-to-end.
• Proficiency in SQL beyond ORM usage, including schema design, indexing, transactions, and isolation levels.
• Cloud experience, preferably Azure, or transferable skills from AWS or GCP.
• Experience managing infrastructure and pipelines as code and CI/CD responsibilities.
• Daily user of AI tools with a considered perspective on their use.
• Fluent English communication skills, both spoken and written.
• Clear writing skills for documenting decisions and specifications.
• Ability to maintain a workday overlapping US business hours by 3–4 hours.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Terraform and Azure Functions.
• Knowledge of multi-tenant SaaS and tenant isolation.
• Identity and access management experience including Entra ID and OAuth2.
• Experience in domains requiring exact and auditable calculations (payroll, billing, fintech).
• Skills with parsers, compilers, or spreadsheet-style engines.
• Experience with event-driven processing.
• Development of data-heavy frontends with virtualization.
• Sales compensation or ICM domain knowledge.

• Design and operate production backend services using C# / .NET beyond adding simple endpoints.
• Develop and own frontend features using TypeScript and React.
• Manage SQL schema design, indexing, query planning, transactions, and isolation levels.
• Maintain and manage cloud infrastructure, primarily on Azure, with responsibility for infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipelines.
• Use AI tools as a daily part of development, applying critical judgment.
• Write clear documentation and decision records.
• Communicate effectively in fluent English during calls, code reviews, specs, and chats.
• Collaborate in a fully remote environment with 3-4 hours daily overlap with US business hours.

Helpful, not required:

• Work with Terraform and Azure Functions.
• Experience with multi-tenant SaaS architectures and tenant isolation.
• Knowledge of identity management including Entra ID, OAuth2 flows, token validation, CIAM.
• Domain experience in payroll, billing, fintech, or accounting requiring precise, auditable calculations.
• Experience with parsers, compilers, expression languages, or spreadsheet-style calculation engines.
• Handling event-driven or queue-based processing at scale.
• Build data-heavy UIs with large grids and virtualization.
• Familiarity with sales compensation or incentive compensation management (ICM).

This is a fully remote position, but candidates must be based in Poland. The contract starts with a fixed 3-month period followed by an option to extend or convert to full-time B2B.
