Project Manager (EU public)

Britenet is a European IT company with strong Polish roots, trusted by more than 200 business partners globally. The current project involves development, consulting, and support of IT systems for Frontex, the European Border and Coast Guard Agency, which supports EU Member States and Schengen-associated countries in managing the EU's external borders and combating cross-border crime.

• Minimum 5 years of work experience as a Project Manager or in a similar role.
• Minimum 8 years of work experience in the IT field.
• Higher education at the bachelor's degree level minimum.
• Experience leading at least one medium-large ICT project as a project manager.
• Experience in Data Privacy, DPIA, Business Continuity, and Information Security Risk Assessment, preferably within EU Institutions.
• Knowledge and experience in applying project management methodologies and methods.
• Knowledge and experience in applying Agile methodologies.
• Thorough understanding of IT and its application to business needs.
• Excellent communication skills, including producing high quality written material and presentations for various audiences.
• Ability to adapt work to changing environments and seek improvements proactively.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Ability to work effectively with colleagues, managers, and suppliers.
• At least one certification among: PRINCE2 Practitioner or Project Management Professional (PMP), PM2 Essential, PM2 Advanced, or an internationally recognized equivalent.
• English proficiency at minimum C1 level.

Nice to have:

• Experience working in the public sector, ideally in international organizations or EU Institutions.

• Manages effectively and efficiently the project within its complete lifecycle and scope.
• Establishes and manages project controls to ensure milestones are met and products delivered on time.
• Assures and controls quality of project deliverables.
• Identifies, tracks, monitors, and communicates project-related issues, scope changes, variances, and contingencies.
• Liaises with Project Board and other key stakeholders.
• Assigns and controls tasks, authorizes work packages, balances priorities and workload, and motivates project team members.
• Plans and controls project products delivery processes.
• Manages effective communication within the project and with the external environment.
• Produces project management products such as plans, logs, and schedules.
• Defines the responsibilities of parties involved in the project.
• Prepares and presents oral and written technical reports and project presentations.
• Organizes and conducts project meetings.
