The Cloud & AI FinOps Analyst role is part of the IT Infrastructure function focusing on cloud platforms, AI tooling, and on-premise infrastructure within the financial services domain.
Wymagania
- Hands-on experience with native cloud cost tools: AWS Cost Explorer, Azure Cost Management, GCP Billing and BigQuery billing exports
- Understanding of cost drivers in cloud and AI consumption including compute, storage, networking, API usage, and per-seat licensing
- Strong analytical skills with large datasets, proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools
- Clear written and verbal communication in English for presenting findings to non-technical stakeholders
- Self-starter with ability to manage workload and priorities independently across time zones
- Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude for automation and problem solving
- Minimum 2 years in FinOps, cloud cost management, or IT finance analyst roles
- Degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
Nice to have:
- FinOps Foundation certification (FOCP) or equivalent cloud cost management qualifications
- Familiarity with API integration and automated data pipelines connecting cloud billing APIs to reporting tools
- Experience with AI vendor usage and billing consoles (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Microsoft)
- Exposure to Power Automate or similar workflow automation tools
- Experience in financial services environment
Obowiązki
- Own day-to-day monitoring of cloud spend across AWS, GCP, and Azure, tracking costs by service, environment, team, and application
- Extend cost tracking to AI platform usage including token-based API consumption and licensing such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT Enterprise, and Claude
- Maintain and develop FinOps platform, transitioning from manual to live API-connected data feeds
- Ensure accuracy, currency, and structured cost data for analysis and reporting
- Identify cost anomalies, usage spikes, and waste proactively
- Analyze reserved vs on-demand usage and recommend optimization strategies
- Identify right-sizing opportunities across workloads, services, and licenses
- Produce variance analysis reports of spend against budget and forecast with explanatory narratives
- Build and maintain dashboards for cloud and AI cost data for IT leadership and stakeholders
- Develop budget alerts for material spend deviations
- Produce monthly and quarterly cost reports for Technology Business Manager and Global Head of Infrastructure
- Support business-facing views of AI and cloud consumption by business unit and application
