Business Analyst - Funds industry

emagine Polska is recruiting for a Business Analyst role focused on institutional clients within a next-generation blockchain-enabled, cloud-native, microservice-based market infrastructure for fund distribution.

• Strong understanding of fund distribution, asset management, custody, transfer agency, or financial market infrastructure.
• Excellent client communication, negotiation, and strategic advisory skills.
• Ability to translate client needs into structured, scalable solution designs.
• Good understanding of cloud-native, API-driven platforms including integration flows and data models.
• Strong analytical and documentation skills with rigorous scoping approach.
• Ability to balance client priorities with product constraints and platform strategy.
• Experience working cross-functionally in dynamic fintech environments.
• Proactive, autonomous, and solution-oriented mindset.
• 7–12+ years in client-facing roles such as solution consulting, client advisory, product consulting, business architecture, or pre-sales within fintech or financial services.
• Experience designing operating models, business workflows, or solution architectures for institutional clients.
• Prior exposure to market infrastructures, blockchain/DLT platforms, fund distribution networks, or regulated financial environments preferred.
• Proven experience preparing SoWs, scoping materials, and functional specifications.
• Strong track record engaging senior stakeholders in operations, technology, product, and compliance.
• Experience working with Agile product and engineering teams is advantageous.

Client Relationship & Portfolio Management:

• Serve as the primary business partner for institutional clients, maintaining long-term, trust-based relationships.
• Understand client objectives, business architecture, and workflows to identify platform adoption opportunities.
• Maintain oversight of each client's portfolio of initiatives and growth areas.
• Conduct regular client governance meetings to review pipeline, solutions, and product evolution.

Solution Design & Target Operating Model Definition:

• Analyze client requirements and design high-level target operating models aligned with platform capabilities.
• Define end-to-end solutions including process flows, data exchanges, integrations, onboarding, and compliance.
• Advise clients on optimal platform adoption based on operational maturity and objectives.
• Collaborate with Product Architects and Product Owners to align solutions with product roadmap.

Client Onboarding Advisory (Pre-Project):

• Support new client onboarding from business and solution perspectives before project execution.
• Lead discovery workshops, requirements clarification, and initial solution demonstrations.
• Define onboarding scope, deliverables, dependencies, and milestones.
• Coordinate handoff to project management and client service teams.

Statement of Work (SoW) & Commercial Scoping:

• Lead preparation of SoWs, functional scoping, and commercial proposals.
• Identify resources, implementation complexity, dependencies, and approximate timelines at solution level.
• Ensure alignment of SoWs with product capabilities, regulations, and delivery capacity.
• Support sales and business development in RFPs, pre-sales, and demonstrations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Work with Product Owners to communicate client needs and strategic opportunities.
• Collaborate with Technical Architect teams to validate solution feasibility.
• Coordinate with Client Service on client expectations and support.
• Provide market insights to Marketing and Leadership.

Governance, Documentation & Continuous Improvement:

• Maintain documentation of solution blueprints, operating models, and approved SoWs.
• Track client feedback for onboarding framework and product improvements.
• Participate in governance forums representing client interests.
