PLC Programmer – 100% remote

The company H2B Group is engaged in a multinational project in the medtech and industrial automation sector. The project involves developing a water filtration system used in medical devices, compliant with FDA requirements for a Class II medical device.

• Experience in PLC programming and industrial automation
• Experience in analyzing and maintaining existing PLC code
• Knowledge of Profinet and/or Modbus
• Experience in diagnostics and troubleshooting of automation systems
• Ability to read and create technical documentation
• English language proficiency at minimum B2+ level
• Ability to work independently with a complex existing codebase

Nice to have:

• Experience with MATLAB / Simulink
• Model-based development and code generation
• Experience in Life Science / Medical Devices
• Knowledge of traceability, change control, and validation processes
• Experience with HMI and integration of PLC with other systems

• Analyze and develop existing PLC code and controller configurations
• Diagnose and fix errors in automation systems
• Work with Profinet IO and Modbus protocols
• Document system architecture, functionalities, and interfaces
• Analyze dependencies between requirements, code, and tests
• Identify discrepancies between documentation and implementation
• Implement agreed changes and perform testing
• Collaborate with the engineering team and participate in knowledge transfer
• Ultimately maintain and develop existing PLC software independently
