Senior IT Project Manager

Moondigo Sp. z o.o. is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to manage a large technology transformation project in the insurance industry. The role involves coordinating infrastructure, environments, security, testing, and deployments within a strategic ICT transformation initiative.

• Minimum 8 years of experience managing complex, long-term IT projects as a Project Manager.
• Experience managing IT projects throughout full lifecycle: discovery, estimation, planning, implementation, deployment, and maintenance.
• Practical knowledge of project management methodologies: Agile (Scrum, Kanban) and Waterfall.
• Experience managing risk, dependencies, schedules, and budgets in technology projects.
• Ability to coordinate interdisciplinary IT teams and collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
• Proficient with tools including JIRA, Confluence, MS Office, and MS Project.
• Strong sense of responsibility, independence, and consistency in achieving goals.
• Very good command of English enabling business communication.
• Possession of project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe, or Agile.

• Experience in projects involving infrastructure, cloud environments, DevOps, security, and production deployments.

Project Management Responsibilities:

• Manage complex, long-term IT projects covering full lifecycle from discovery to maintenance.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary teams including infrastructure architects, DevOps engineers, security experts, test managers, and deployment managers.
• Plan and supervise acceptance, performance, and security testing.
• Oversee preparation, coordination, and execution of production deployments.
• Supervise handover of new systems to maintenance ensuring operational readiness.
• Plan schedules, monitor progress, and coordinate dependencies across teams and technological areas.
• Manage project risks, budget, and resources.
• Ensure availability of appropriate work tools, infrastructure, equipment, and licenses for project execution.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders; report progress to the IT Project Operations Director.
