Senior Python Developer

The role is within the banking industry, focusing on the development of the GenLite application that supports AI/RAG/LLM functionalities.

• Experience with Python 3.12/3.13, FastAPI, asynchronous programming (async/await), Pydantic, SQLAlchemy, Alembic, pytest, and pytest-asyncio.
• Knowledge of API design: REST, OpenAPI, input validation, error handling, authorization, endpoint versioning, and backward compatibility.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and Redis, including data models, migrations, indexes, transactions, Redis Stack, vector search, and basics of pgvector.
• Familiarity with Azure OpenAI/OpenAI API, embeddings, document chunking, retrieval, and prompt engineering.
• Frontend experience with TypeScript, React/Vite, and Vue 3/Vite.
• Knowledge of MSAL, Entra ID, OAuth2/OIDC, JWT, CORS, CSRF, and role/permission management.
• Experience integrating with Azure Blob Storage, Microsoft Graph, Jira, Confluence, and using httpx/aiohttp.
• Ability to build resilient integrations handling timeouts and external system errors.
• Familiarity with unit and integration testing, ruff, pyright, and maintaining API contracts.
• Basic DevOps knowledge including Docker Compose, Kubernetes logs, CI/CD pipelines, environment variables, and running migrations.
• Knowledge of CI/CD for applications deployed on Kubernetes.

• Develop and maintain the GenLite application using Python, FastAPI, and asynchronous programming patterns.
• Design and develop REST and OpenAPI compliant APIs with validation, authorization, error handling, and backward compatibility.
• Work with PostgreSQL and Redis databases including data modeling, migrations, indexing, and performance optimization.
• Implement AI/RAG/LLM solutions using Azure OpenAI, OpenAI API, embeddings, document chunking, retrieval, and prompt engineering.
• Develop frontend components using TypeScript, React/Vite for GenLite, and Vue 3/Vite for Chatbot RAG.
• Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms using MSAL, Entra ID, OAuth2/OIDC, JWT, CORS, and CSRF.
• Integrate applications with Azure Blob Storage, Microsoft Graph, Jira, Confluence, and external systems via HTTP clients.
• Ensure code quality through unit and integration tests, static analysis, and maintaining API contracts.
• Support deployment and maintenance processes in Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD environments.
