Senior RDMA Performance Engineer

CodiLime is an expert in software and network engineering partnering with top global networking hardware providers, software providers, and telecoms. The company has over 250 employees and operates internationally with clients in the US, Japan, Israel, and Europe. They work on projects such as SONiC validation on NVIDIA Spectrum-Based Platforms for AI Networking using Agile methodology.

• 7+ years of experience in network engineering with 3+ years in data center network design and architecture.
• Hands-on experience with core network protocols and technologies including BGP, EVPN/VXLAN, LACP, and ECMP.
• Deep understanding of AI-dedicated data center designs like Rail-Optimized Design (ROD) and Rail-Unified Design (RUD).
• Experience managing NVIDIA/Mellanox Spectrum switches and ConnectX NICs.
• Knowledge of protocols and congestion control for AI data centers (RoCEv2, PFC, ECN).
• Ability to tune switch buffer and implement QoS policies.
• Experience benchmarking AI-ready data center fabrics using RDMA and NCCL.
• Ability to use AI agents/tools for automation and testing.
• Strong technical documentation skills and professional English communication.

Nice to have:

• Professional certifications such as CCNP/CCIE Enterprise/DC, JNCIP or equivalent.
• Experience with network automation and validation frameworks (pyATS, NAPALM, Batfish, Nornir, NetBox).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts.

• Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain NVIDIA/Mellanox Spectrum switches and ConnectX Network Interface Cards (NICs).
• Implement and tune congestion control mechanisms including RoCEv2, Priority-based Flow Control (PFC), and Explicit Congestion Notification (ECN).
• Optimize network environments focusing on throughput, latency, and Job Completion Time (JCT).
• Conduct performance benchmarking and validation on AI-ready data center fabrics using RDMA and NVIDIA Collective Communication Library (NCCL).
• Leverage AI agents and tools to automate tasks, testing, and network telemetry analysis.
• Author and maintain high-quality technical documentation on network designs and benchmarking results.
