Mid-Level UI/UX Developer (React Developer)

For our client, a big financial institution, we are seeking a Mid-Level UI/UX Developer with strong React.js expertise to build and maintain scalable, high-performance front-end features for client-facing Portals.

• Strong React.js and TypeScript development experience.
• Solid understanding of modern front-end architecture patterns, including component-based design and state management (e.g., Redux, Context API).
• Working familiarity with design tools (e.g., Figma) for interpreting and implementing designs.
• Experience integrating with REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Basic understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG).
• Exposure to containerized application environments and CI/CD pipelines.

Nice to have:

• Exposure to Micro Frontend concepts (Module Federation).
• Basic SQL/database knowledge.
• Experience in financial services or transfer agency domains.

• Design and develop front-end features using React.js, TypeScript, and modern front-end tooling following approved designs and the company’s Design System.
• Build reusable UI components and contribute to shared component libraries.
• Collaborate with the Senior Design/Developer to ensure pixel-accurate and design-faithful implementation.
• Integrate front-end applications with REST APIs and backend microservices.
• Optimize application performance, accessibility (WCAG), and cross-browser compatibility.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve UI defects and production issues.
• Support automated testing (unit and integration) for front-end code.
