Cybersecurity Engineer

ALGOTEQUE SERVICES is hiring a Cybersecurity Engineer to support the development and maintenance of cybersecurity solutions and collaborate with IT and SOC teams on security projects, changes, and incidents.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT or 2 years in cybersecurity.
• Practical knowledge of IT security technologies, networks, and Windows/RHEL systems.
• Familiarity with threat and vulnerability analysis of IT infrastructure.
• Knowledge of protections at the Internet interface.
• Knowledge of NIST, ISO 27001, PCI DSS standards.
• English language skills enabling fluent communication and working with documentation.
• Ability to collaborate with IT teams and communicate technical issues.
• Willingness to visit the office in Warsaw twice a month.

Nice to have:

• Certificates such as CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+ or similar.
• Knowledge of financial sector regulations, including D KNF Recommendations, KNF Cloud Communication, UKSC.
• Experience in Azure / GCP security.
• Technical education.

• Maintain and develop systems supporting cybersecurity monitoring and attack protection.
• Analyze threats, vulnerabilities, and resilience of IT systems.
• Support IT teams regarding security for projects, changes, and digital processes.
• Support SOC in handling security incidents.
• Provide advice on security of applications and IT infrastructure.
• Co-create and develop security standards.
