Senior Data Scientist / Data Analyst

Join us as a Data Analyst / Data Scientist in the Data Delivery commercial domain of the airline industry, where you'll apply data analysis, advanced analytics and Generative AI to areas such as network planning, scheduling, and revenue management. The role contributes to driving commercial efficiency, strategic decision refinement, and profitability through data-driven insights.

• 3+ years of professional experience in Data Science, Advanced Analytics, or related field.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python and SQL.
• Practical experience building and validating machine learning models.
• Experience using data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Experience working with Databricks or similar modern analytics platforms.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to translate complex data into actionable business recommendations.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or related field.
• Good command of English (B2/C1).
• Availability to work in a hybrid model with 2 days per week in Gdańsk office.

Nice to have:

• Experience with airline, transportation, logistics, or revenue management domains.
• Experience working with Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
• Knowledge of Generative AI and Large Language Models with practical business applications.
• Familiarity with MLOps, model deployment, and production environments, including MLflow.
• Basic knowledge of PySpark, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD processes.

• Develop and enhance machine learning models supporting commercial airline processes including pricing, demand forecasting, customer behavior analysis, and revenue optimization.
• Analyze complex business challenges and translate them into analytical solutions with measurable business impact.
• Evaluate and improve existing analytical and predictive models to ensure robustness, accuracy, and business relevance.
• Explore and implement Generative AI use cases to enhance decision-making and business processes.
• Conduct advanced data analysis to identify opportunities for process optimization, customer insights, and revenue growth.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to translate business needs into analytical solutions.
• Contribute to the development of data products from concept through implementation.
• Communicate findings and recommendations through dashboards, reports, presentations, and workshops.
• Support deployment and operationalization of analytical solutions within Azure and Databricks ecosystems.
