Network Automation Engineer

• Professional experience with networking fundamentals including TCP/IP and IP routing protocols.
• Experience with Unix-based systems administration.
• Experience with network vendor devices such as Arista, Cisco, Juniper, and Nokia and their automation interfaces.
• Proficient in developing systems using Python.

Technical skills:

• Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation.
• Deep understanding of network protocols such as TCP/IP, BGP, and OSPF.
• Hands-on experience with Docker.
• Knowledge of monitoring solutions like Prometheus and Grafana.
• Familiarity with Ansible for automation and configuration management.
• Experience with git and CI/CD tools.
• Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL and ClickHouse.
• Familiarity with APIs and data formats including JSON and YAML.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Python frameworks Django, DRF, FastAPI.
• Experience with React for internal tools and dashboards.
• Advanced networking knowledge including Flowspec, Telemetry, and gNMI.
• Programming experience with Go.

Soft skills:

• Teamwork and problem-solving abilities.
• Fluent English.

• Write and maintain software to solve network management and monitoring tasks including deploying and auditing device configurations, automating validation and testing, and monitoring network health with visualization and alerting.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate network automation solutions into deployment pipelines.
• Drive automation across software development, release, and operations stages.
• Research network automation trends and implement improvements for team efficiency and innovation.
• Support Linux-based environments and containerized applications including NMS, telemetry, routing controllers, syslog, tacacs, and netflow services.
