Head of Growth, Margin Trading

It offers spot trading, margin, futures, staking, and OTC services, catering to individual investors and institutional clients.

• 4+ years experience in growth, product marketing, or VIP/high-value customer acquisition
• Proven success acquiring high-net-worth traders or players in crypto, trading, or gaming/gambling
• Experience converting competitors' customers into long-term, high-value users
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams without formal authority and deliver measurable outcomes
• Strong understanding of leveraged and margin trading and high-volume trader decision-making
• Data-driven ownership of funnel metrics, revenue impact, and ROI on acquisition spend
• High agency and scrappiness: takes full ownership and delivers results quickly
• Clear communication skills to align marketing, VIP, product, and leadership teams

Nice to have:

• Existing network among high-net-worth traders, market makers, or VIP communities
• Experience building VIP or whale acquisition programs from scratch
• Background in regulated financial products or iGaming with strict compliance requirements

• Own growth for margin trading on Kraken Pro, with CEO-level business area ownership
• Build and execute acquisition strategy for high-net-worth individual traders
• Partner with VIP team on sourcing, onboarding, and activating high-value traders
• Mobilize internal teams including performance marketing, organic, and creative design to drive growth as a senior contributor without direct reports
• Define positioning, messaging, and offers for margin trading tailored to high-volume traders
• Set growth targets and manage the acquisition funnel from lead to active margin trader
• Run experiments across channels, programs, and incentives and scale successful efforts
• Provide trader insights to Product for roadmap influence
