Lead AI Data Software Engineer

Their Data Competency Center works on diverse projects across Financial, Health Care, and Insurance domains.

• 5+ years of experience in software development with Data Software Engineering technologies
• Advanced knowledge of Python
• Extensive experience with Apache Spark and Databricks
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, Amazon Web Services, and Google Cloud Platform
• Experience with AI development tools like Claude Code, Github Copilot, and Cursor
• Experience managing small to mid-size teams using Agile methodology
• Ability to explain technological solutions in a simple, business-oriented way
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related technical field or equivalent practical experience
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills in English (B2+)

Nice to have:

• Experience in building Agentic AI solutions
• Experience with message queues, specifically Kafka, and large data transfer applications/middleware
• Production experience in search technologies such as Solr, OpenSearch, or Lucene
• Knowledge of Scala or Java

• Develop and implement innovative analytical solutions using Cloud Native, Data, and NoSQL-related technologies
• Develop and implement Cloud/On-Premise/Hybrid solutions using best-in-the-class data frameworks
• Drive next waves of AI adoption
• Work with product and engineering teams to understand requirements and evaluate new features and architecture
• Build collaborative partnerships with architects, technical leads, and key individuals within other functional groups
• Perform detailed analysis of business problems and technical environments to design quality technical solutions
• Actively participate in code reviews and test solutions to ensure best practice compliance
• Build and foster a high-performance engineering culture, mentor team members, and provide the team with tools and motivation
• Write project documentation
