Senior Java Developer

Ness Solution is recruiting for a Senior Java Developer to join a team developing modern large-scale systems with microservice architecture.

• Minimum 7 years of commercial experience with Java.
• Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Framework / Spring Boot, Hibernate / JPA, Apache Kafka, and SQL.
• Practical experience with Angular.
• Experience designing and developing microservices.
• Practical knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
• Experience in designing and implementing REST API.
• Knowledge of best practices for writing high-quality, testable code.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Willingness to work hybrid, with at least 1 day per week in the office in Warsaw.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Playwright.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of RabbitMQ and/or Elasticsearch.
• Experience with cloud platforms: Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Understanding of IT Security.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD processes.
• Experience in mentoring other developers or performing the role of Technical Lead.

• Design, develop, and maintain applications based on Java.
• Build and extend systems using microservice architecture and work with monolithic solutions.
• Participate in architecture design and technology decisions.
• Design and implement REST API.
• Develop asynchronous communication solutions using Apache Kafka.
• Work with databases and analyze data using SQL.
• Implement solutions based on Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles.
• Develop test automation and maintain proper test pyramid structure.
• Perform and review code review.
• Collaborate with team members to improve business and technological processes.
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies and daily Agile team work.
• Use available AI tools to enhance software development efficiency.
