Administrator Middleware

• Minimum 3 years of experience administering J2EE application servers such as Oracle WebLogic Server, JBoss, or similar
• Knowledge of three-tier architecture and communication between presentation, application, and database layers
• Knowledge of Oracle databases, SQL, JDBC configuration, data sources, and connection pools
• Ability to analyze application logs and diagnose performance and availability issues
• Knowledge of Linux operating systems
• Familiarity with testing and diagnostic tools for SOAP and REST services and authentication/authorization mechanisms including OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), JWT, and WS-Security
• English language proficiency sufficient to use technical documentation

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Oracle Fusion Middleware, especially Oracle SOA Suite, Oracle Service Bus, and Oracle Forms and Reports
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL and MongoDB databases
• Ability to write automation scripts in Bash, Python, or WLST
• Experience with monitoring and log analysis tools such as Dynatrace or Splunk

• Administration, maintenance, and development of middleware environments and J2EE application servers
• Monitoring availability and performance of business systems
• Analyzing logs and diagnosing and resolving production incidents
• Deploying applications, configuration changes, and new software versions
• Configuring application connections to databases and other systems
• Analyzing performance of applications, Java virtual machines, connection pools, and server resources
• Supporting development and project teams in application deployment and maintenance
• Participating in designing high availability and scalability solutions
• Automating repetitive administrative and deployment tasks
• Updating systems to comply with security requirements and audit recommendations
