Group Technology at Nordea develops and modernizes integrations of the Safekeeping & Corporate Actions system, a core trading lifecycle component, using microservices connected via Kafka, MQ, REST services, and API Gateway. The Safekeeping system is a vendor solution, and the team focuses on maintaining and developing integration components that support the system within Nordea's IT landscape.
Wymagania
- Fluent in Java, SQL, and English (C1 level)
- At least 12 years of experience as a software developer in large-scale enterprises with progression to technical leadership
- Experience with Maven, Spring Boot, and Spring Integration
- Knowledge of Oracle database
- Experience with messaging technologies: IBM MQ and Kafka
- Experience with testing frameworks like Junit and Testcontainers
- Proficiency in Git and CI/CD tools such as Bamboo
- Ownership mentality and ability to seek answers proactively
- Comfortable working in a multinational environment with a sense of humor
Obowiązki
- Design, build, and enhance integration components connecting the Safekeeping system with other Nordea systems
- Take ownership of technical quality, coding standards, and maintain a backlog of technical improvements and architectural enhancements
- Mentor and guide team members on technical best practices, code reviews, and knowledge sharing
- Lead technical architecture decisions in collaboration with solution and enterprise architects
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Represent technical competence in cross-functional meetings and Scrum ceremonies
- Drive technical estimates, identify risks, and propose solutions to integration challenges
- Ensure system reliability by implementing monitoring, troubleshooting production issues, and establishing incident response procedures
