Senior Automation Tester (k/m)

Lumicode Sp. z o.o., part of the Pentacomp Group, has been providing IT solutions and technological services for nearly 30 years to major enterprises and public sector institutions. The role is for a client in the banking industry working on Master Data Management solutions focusing on automation of API, integrations, databases, and backend data flows.

• 5+ years of experience in test automation and framework development, preferably in enterprise environments
• Strong knowledge of Java 17+, object-oriented programming, and Clean Code principles
• Experience with JUnit 5, RESTAssured, and Lombok
• Experience automating tests for API, integrations, and backend processes
• Good knowledge of REST API and practical knowledge of SOAP
• Good knowledge of SQL and data validation experience
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and/or Bamboo
• Proficient with Git and working knowledge of Jira/qTest
• Knowledge of QA processes and working in Agile/Scrum
• Very good command of English language

• Design and develop automated tests for API, integrations, and data flows
• Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks
• Create regression tests and integrate them into CI/CD processes
• Test REST and SOAP APIs and backend processes
• Verify data in databases and correctness of data processing
• Test asynchronous integrations including Kafka communication
• Analyze test results and prepare confirmation materials
• Promote "Automation First" approach and increase automation scope
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, Product Owners, and QA teams
• Support less experienced colleagues in test automation
• Utilize AI tools, including GitHub Copilot, to improve work processes
