Senior Java FullStack Developer

SpyroSoft S.A. is an international company involved in developing modern, AI-driven software solutions with a focus on scalable applications combining backend and frontend technologies.

• 5+ years of commercial software development experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Java 17+ and very good knowledge of Spring Boot and the modern Spring ecosystem
• Commercial experience in frontend development with strong practical experience in Angular and/or React
• Commercial experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
• Commercial experience working with AI solutions including Large Language Models (LLMs), AI agents, or agentic AI solutions
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot
• Proven experience building and integrating REST APIs
• Solid understanding of modern application architectures, SDLC, CI/CD, and software engineering best practices
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate in international teams

Nice to have:

• Experience using AI tools in day-to-day workflow
• Experience with DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform)
• Experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes
• Experience with Kafka or other event-driven technologies
• Experience with AI frameworks, orchestration tools, APIs, or RAG-based solutions
• German language skills
• Previous experience in financial services, banking, or FinTech environments

• Develop end-to-end full stack solutions using Java/Spring Boot and Angular/React
• Design and implement scalable REST APIs and backend services
• Build user-focused frontend applications
• Integrate and optimize AI-powered solutions including LLMs and AI agents
• Collaborate on architecture, technical design, and best engineering practices
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot
• Contribute to CI/CD processes and cloud-based deployments (Azure, AWS, GCP)
• Work closely with international, cross-functional teams to deliver innovative software solutions

This is a freelance engagement with a project duration of 12 months; position is fully remote.
