Senior Product Designer - Design System

• 3+ years in a senior product design role with strong UX focus and leadership.
• Mastery of visual design, typography, grids, layout, and colour theory.
• Expertise in interaction design, information architecture, and user flows.
• Deep understanding of mobile and web platform design ensuring responsiveness.
• Strong knowledge of behavioural psychology influencing user decisions.
• Experience with usability testing, user interviews, and heuristic evaluations.
• Ability to synthesise qualitative and quantitative insights into design decisions.
• Familiarity with UX analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Mixpanel, and Hotjar.
• Proficiency in atomic design principles and scalable UI frameworks.
• Knowledge of motion design tools like Lottie, After Effects, and Principle.
• Experience mentoring junior designers and articulating design rationale.
• Comfortable working in agile, fast-paced product teams.
• Mastery of Figma including auto layout, design tokens, component variants, interactive prototypes, and scalable design libraries.
• Proven experience in fintech and/or SaaS environments with industry understanding.

• Define and execute design strategies aligning with business objectives and user needs.
• Lead end-to-end design process: discovery, research, wireframing, prototyping, and final UI execution.
• Conduct advanced user research, usability testing, and A/B experiments to validate design solutions.
• Partner with product managers and engineers to ensure seamless implementation.
• Design scalable UI components and contribute to the design system.
• Advocate for accessibility (A11y) and inclusive design principles.
• Create and refine micro-interactions and motion elements.
• Use data-driven insights to improve user experience and optimise business impact.
• Mentor and guide junior designers.
• Stay updated on fintech trends and best practices to drive innovation.
