Principal 2D Animator

• Expert-level proficiency with Spine as the primary animation tool; familiarity with other animation/VFX tools is a plus
• Strong professional English
• 6+ years of experience in the games industry (gambling or non-gambling) with proven high-level individual contribution
• Proactive and resourceful with ability to analyze workflows, identify risks, and drive improvements that accelerate animation without sacrificing quality
• Strong cross-department collaboration skills to communicate complex animation concepts and develop efficient technical solutions
• An outstanding portfolio showcasing exceptional game animations, technical rigs, and complex problem-solving
• Mastery of animation principles and advanced mobile optimisation techniques
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and self-development skills

• Act as a high-level bridge between Art and Tech, resolving cross-team dependencies and bottlenecks for seamless animation implementation
• Mentor and coach other animators to raise the team's skills and foster technical and artistic growth
• Set studio-wide benchmarks for animation quality and drive long-term animation strategy and pipeline efficiency
• Study competitors' feel and timing to improve and push the animation industry forward
• Bring experience with VFX for mobile devices, including creating effects and working with particle systems
• Deliver top-tier, complex animations (symbols, backgrounds, characters, UI elements, pop-up banners) quickly and to a high standard
• Work across and establish best practices for diverse animation styles, from cartoon to realistic to stylised
