Business Analyst

This is a near-site engagement supporting a major EU agency's ERP/ServiceNow business-process delivery in Warsaw, facilitated through a specialist staffing partner under an EU framework contract.

• 5+ years of IT-relevant professional experience, including 3+ years as a Business Analyst or in a similar role
• At least 2 certifications among CCBA (or equivalent), Certified UML Professional (foundation), or BPM2 fundamental (or equivalent)
• At least one valid ServiceNow certificate (Certified System Administrator, Citizen Developer, Certified Implementation Specialist, or similar)
• Bachelor's-level education (ICT-relevant degree not mandatory)
• English at C1 level
• Experience as BA on a large-scale ERP deployment (over 1 year, budget over €1M)
• Experience analysing business processes in Logistics, Warehouse Management, Asset Management, Fleet Management, Financial Management, Legal, HR, or Project Management
• Business (optionally system) analysis experience on the ServiceNow platform: ITSM (HAM, CMDB), SecOps, CSM, Enterprise Asset Management, Strategic Portfolio Management — on-prem and cloud
• Experience through at least one full software-solution lifecycle
• Strong grounding in BPMN and UML (capability/activity/state diagrams, logical data models)
• Familiarity with Sparx EA, ARIS or similar tools
• Strong analytical and communication skills, solid documentation practice, and problem-solving ability

• Model and document value chains/streams, business processes, roles, capabilities and data
• Elicit and analyse business needs, requirements and user stories
• Support business experts and product owners during requirements definition and software development
• Maintain and track requirements/user stories through the systems lifecycle
• Translate business, user and technical needs into business requirements specifications
• Map business goals, benefits, priorities, components and system features
• Support preparation of business cases and feasibility studies, and contribute to systems design, testing, QA and change management
• Coach client staff through process changes and support transition roadmaps
• Identify and drive opportunities for business-process improvement

Location: Warsaw, Poland — near-site, no travel foreseen
Engagement: framework contract, initial 12-month Specific Contract with up to 3 renewals (up to 48 months total)
