Junior QA Specialist

MasterBorn is a company involved in international projects with Scrum Teams. The team uses tools such as Apple MacBook Pro, Slack, Google Workspace, GitHub, Jira, Coda, FigJam and Figma, browser developer tools, and AI assistants like Claude Code.

• 6-12 months of practical experience in QA, software testing, or related role including internships
• Basic understanding of test scenarios, expected results, regression testing, exploratory testing, and clear bug reporting
• Hands-on experience using AI assistants for practical tasks, with ability to explain approach and verify output
• Some experience building or adapting simple automated workflows
• Basic understanding of automation logic, ability to follow test or workflow inputs, expected results, and correctness
• Initial hands-on experimentation with AI agents to execute sequences, ideally for simple application tests
• Basic understanding of application interface, APIs, and data integration; willingness to investigate using browser tools, requests, logs, and test results
• Ability to break tasks into clear steps, describe correct results, and recognize when help is needed
• Comfortable with issue trackers and shared documentation; willing to learn testing and automation tools
• Curious about user needs and delivering reliable software
• Attentive to detail, able to verify evidence before conclusions
• Communicates progress, findings, and blockers clearly
• Open to feedback, acknowledges knowledge gaps, asks for help
• Ready to work with mentors and build independence within Agile/Scrum team
• English language proficiency at B2 or above
• Polish language proficiency at C1 or above

Nice to have:

• Experience creating or maintaining automated browser or API tests
• Familiarity with programming languages, testing frameworks, or workflow automation platforms
• Basic scripting, version control, SQL, or working with structured data
• Experience connecting tools via APIs, webhooks, or low-code automation
• Familiarity with CI/CD test runs and automated test reports
• Interest in accessibility, usability, or cross-browser/device testing
• ISTQB/ISEB certification or experience collaborating directly with clients

• Work with developers, designers, and product owners to understand requirements, expected behavior, and important user journeys
• Turn requirements into clear test scenarios and use a mix of exploratory checks and automation to evaluate application quality
• Build and maintain simple workflows with guidance, reducing repetitive QA work such as collecting test results, preparing reports, and updating checklists
• Use AI to help maintain test cases, process documentation, and the team knowledge base, verifying updates against product behavior and decisions
• Use AI agents to help create, run, and update straightforward end-to-end tests with guidance and team review
• Check that automated tests verify intended behavior, investigate failures with support, and report product defects
• Report issues with clear reproduction steps, expected and actual results, and useful evidence; verify fixes and update issue status
• Run existing automated checks and learn how test results integrate into the team's CI/CD and release process
• Document workflows, check outputs, and raise failures or uncertainties to maintain them
