Install, customize, upgrade, and maintain Db2 for z/OS environments and associated ISV tools from vendors such as IBM, Broadcom, and CA.
Execute software maintenance using SMP/E across MVS/z/OS environments, applying service updates and version upgrades.
Administer Db2 access control and security rules using RACF and ACF2 to manage system authorizations and permissions.
Perform system performance tuning, monitoring, database sizing, and troubleshooting to identify and resolve processing anomalies or system errors.
Support disaster recovery (DR) strategy and lead functional testing for the tertiary backup environment.
Maintain JCL, operational utilities, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and technical documentation for mainframe database operations.
Provide ongoing operations support and collaborate with Service Centers and business teams to handle incident escalations, resolutions, and reporting.
