ServiceNow Solution Developer

The ServiceNow program consists of approximately 50 dedicated individuals skilled in ServiceNow across multiple regions, responsible for the development, operations, and maintenance of the global ServiceNow platform. The program includes two development teams covering various modules, supported by product management and architecture teams. This role is within Enterprise IT focused on enhancing patient care through advanced technology in the pharmaceutical industry.

• Over 6 years of IT industry experience with a strong software development and integration background
• 2+ years hands-on experience with ServiceNow, including scoped applications, update set lifecycle, REST/Table API, GlideRecord, and encoded queries
• Proficiency in JavaScript with experience writing, reviewing, and optimizing code in an IDE-based environment
• Experience using AI-powered coding assistants and LLM-based development tools
• Familiarity with LLM integration patterns, API design, prompt management, and responsible AI guardrails; knowledge of Now Assist is a plus
• Ability to work within enforced development governance including coding standards, peer review, and structured documentation
• Strong technical writing skills for clear specifications and documentation
• Technical curiosity and proactive learning of AI and ServiceNow advancements
• Solid understanding of IT processes in large organizations
• Practical experience with SAFe and ITIL workflows, including story linking, deployment documentation, and environment promotion
• Excellent English communication and presentation skills
• High cultural sensitivity for cross-cultural and multi-time zone collaboration

Nice to have:

• Proficiency with Git version control and collaborative development workflows

• Designing and implementing ServiceNow solutions using AI and custom integrations with LLM-based AI services
• Developing robust integration frameworks to connect ServiceNow with external platforms and tools
• Collaborating with architects, product owners, and development teams to ensure best practices and governance compliance
• Contributing to technical documentation, development standards, and knowledge sharing
• Maintaining focus on data quality and mitigating risks in AI solution design
• Supporting continuous improvement, health, and reliability of ServiceNow's AI capabilities
• Collaborating with business stakeholders to gather and prioritize requirements with an end-to-end product focus

The role is a remote position preferred for candidates based in Eastern Europe who should specify their country of residence. English language proficiency at a full professional level is required.
