Wymagania
- Experience as a technical founder or product engineer with coding background.
- Strong product sense to identify product strengths and weaknesses and convert them into actionable insights.
- Familiarity with business and product metrics such as activation, retention, and churn.
- Ability to write SQL or another query language to answer data questions.
- Proactive and highly organized, capable of independently determining priorities and progressing multiple initiatives.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills in an async work environment.
- Hands-on experience with observability products and understanding of how engineers investigate and debug production issues.
Nice to have:
- Previous experience working on or managing an observability product.
- Additional data modeling experience beyond query writing.
- Experience with developer tools or AI products.
- Experience conducting user interviews and working with designers or engineers on new user experiences.
Obowiązki
- Run growth reviews monthly for each product to ensure correct metrics and analyze user behavior and churn.
- Analyze product and customer data across more than 10 products to identify actionable patterns for growth.
- Lead competitive research and provide recommendations on pricing, feature parity, and potential new products.
- Independently choose and prioritize tasks, such as data deep dives, packaging, pricing strategies, and UX support for new product concepts.
What you won’t be doing:
- Backlog grooming
- Deciding or approving what to build
- Shielding developers from users; instead, engage engineers in user interviews
- Project management including writing tickets, RFCs, or PRDs
- Coding and shipping new features (except small PRs or hackathon contributions)
