Solution Architect

co.brick talents is seeking an experienced IT Architect / Solution Architect with strong technical expertise and practical experience in designing and implementing transactional systems in the banking and fintech sector. The role focuses on financial environment experience, typical integrations, security mechanisms, and payment systems. Practical architectural and technological experience from fintech projects is required.

• Minimum 10 years of software development experience with roles as Software Architect, Solution Architect, IT Architect, or similar.
• Practical experience designing, implementing, and developing transactional banking systems.
• Experience with banking system integrations including SAP, IAM, SSO, RBAC, payment systems, interbank integrations, SWIFT MX/MT communication standards, and AML-related solutions.
• Expert knowledge of programming languages, e.g., Java.
• Practical experience in distributed system design, microservices, and modular architectures.
• Experience designing and implementing REST APIs.
• Knowledge of SOAP and XML integrations.
• Experience with asynchronous communication platforms like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Very good knowledge of relational databases, especially PostgreSQL.
• Experience with object storage compatible with S3.
• Practical experience with containerization and container-based environments.
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools.
• Strong knowledge of design and architectural patterns.
• Ability to design solutions considering scalability, high availability, security, reliability, and performance.
• Experience analyzing and optimizing existing system architectures, identifying constraints, performance issues, technical debt, and modernization opportunities.
• Experience designing or building AI solutions including AI/ML or Generative AI components integrated into enterprise systems.
• Ability to assess AI use from architecture, security, integration, scalability, and cost perspectives.
• Experience preparing architectural documentation and defining technical standards.
• Ability to present and justify technical decisions to development teams, business units, security, and infrastructure departments.

• Experience in the insurance industry.
• Experience modernizing legacy systems and performing architectural transformations.
• Practical knowledge of cloud solutions and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience with LLM, RAG, AI Agents, or AI platforms in enterprise-class solutions.

• Define integration architecture between banking and external systems.
• Optimize and modernize existing solution architectures.
• Design integration solutions, APIs, and synchronous/asynchronous communication.
• Define standards for security, authorization, IAM, and system integration.
• Collaborate with development teams on key technological decisions.
• Analyze possibilities of using AI and Generative AI in new and existing solutions.
• Design secure and scalable methods for integrating AI components with enterprise systems.
• Maintain architecture consistency, technical quality, and compliance with organizational standards.
• Prepare architectural documentation and present technical recommendations to stakeholders.
• Cooperate with the sales department analyzing technical documentation and providing technical perspectives.
