Software Developer (Power BI) (m/f/n)

The position is for a Software Developer to join the client's team working on a project for an EU institution located in Warsaw. The employment is under a B2B contract with the employer Shimi. The role involves long-term cooperation, starting from 15.11.2026, onsite at the office in Warsaw.

• Higher education
• At least 4 years of experience in IT, including 2 years in a similar position
• Intermediate level certificate in software development or equivalent international certification
• English language proficiency at B2 level
• Completed at least one full solution lifecycle
• Expertise in developing enterprise-level software systems
• Knowledge of UML and application design using UML
• Proficient in designing and developing data layer, business logic layer, and UI layer
• Experience working in Scrum development environments
• Leadership capability for technical teams
• Effective documentation skills for technical solutions
• Problem-solving skills
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Full-stack Power BI support or developer role (custom solutions development, dashboards, data models, paginated reports)
• Microsoft SQL Server application development with T-SQL knowledge
• Experience with Web Services, REST API, HTTP API
• Experience with DAX & Power Query (M language), data optimization, advanced data analytics tools, Row-Level Security (RLS), Object-Level Security (OLS)
• Strong skills in Power BI performance tuning via MS SQL source optimization, including efficient T-SQL, database Views, and maximizing Query Folding
• Skills in requirement elicitation and drafting specifications
• Teamwork, conflict management, result orientation, and presentation skills for business stakeholders and other audiences
