Data Modeler (GCP) [M/F]

Arche Solutions is offering a remote senior position for a Data Modeler with expertise in Google Cloud Platform and SQL-based analytics environments.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Experience designing analytical or enterprise data models
• Practical experience working with cloud-based data platforms
• Very good knowledge of SQL and SQL-based environments
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Practical knowledge of dbt Core
• Understanding of Data Quality concepts and monitoring solutions
• Experience collaborating with Data Engineering teams
• Ability to analyze existing data architecture and design target data models
• Experience defining modeling standards, data structures, and naming conventions
• Ability to create and maintain technical documentation

• Analyze existing Data Quality solutions including architecture, data structures, and dependencies
• Design target data models supporting data quality monitoring in GCP
• Define data structures and modeling standards in dbt Core
• Develop and maintain data modeling standards, naming conventions, and organizational principles
• Support design of the target architecture for Data Quality monitoring solutions
• Define integration rules for data models with other Data Platform components
• Map legacy solutions to target data architectures and models
• Analyze dependencies between current and future solutions to identify necessary transformations
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Data Engineers, and Test Engineers during design, implementation, and validation
• Support Data Engineering team in implementing designed models
