Lead Full-stack Engineer | Java + Angular

Upvanta is seeking an experienced Lead Full-stack Engineer with strong expertise in Java/Spring and Angular. The role involves full-stack development including UI, API, business logic, databases, integrations, and deployment.

• Minimum 15 years of IT experience
• Strong knowledge of Java and Spring framework
• Extensive experience with Angular and TypeScript
• Experience building end-to-end full-stack applications
• Practical knowledge of relational databases, especially PostgreSQL or Oracle
• Experience with Kafka and asynchronous communication architecture
• Experience designing and securing REST API
• Knowledge of CI/CD and automation of build/test/deploy processes
• Very good command of English or French (minimum B2 level)
• Higher education degree

• Designing front-end architecture and developing web applications
• Creating backend applications and implementing business logic
• Developing REST API and web services
• Working with data layers and relational databases
• Ensuring application security: data validation, authentication/authorization, secure data storage, logging, and monitoring
• Developing scalable and responsive applications
• Analyzing and optimizing existing code, processes, and data
• Writing unit and integration tests
• Diagnosing issues and improving performance
• Participating in CI/CD processes, deployments, and containerization
• Preparing technical documentation and collaborating on functional and non-functional requirements
