Senior Embedded Engineer

The role is with Sigma Connectivity Poland, working on the development of a medical measurement device. This product is a battery-powered connected device designed to provide continuous measurements and securely transmit data to the cloud.

• Experience with embedded system architecture and RTOS-based development
• Experience with NXP MCX N Series microcontrollers or similar MCU platforms
• Experience with Eclipse ThreadX
• Experience with BLE implementation and integration
• Experience with USB device development, including High-Speed USB
• Experience with USB firmware upgrade mechanisms
• Experience with embedded cybersecurity and Secure Boot
• Firmwares integration, debugging and system stabilization skills
• Preparing embedded firmware for laboratory and product testing
• Hardware bring-up and debugging using SWD
• Working with connectivity modules and communication interfaces such as UART and USB
• AI-assisted software development using tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code

Nice to have:

• Experience with medical devices or other regulated embedded products
• Experience with LTE-connected IoT devices
• Experience with Azure IoT Hub
• Experience with battery-powered and power-optimized embedded systems
• Experience with connected devices combining BLE, cellular and USB communication

• Designing and further developing the embedded system architecture

• Preparing and stabilizing the firmware for laboratory testing of the medical device
• Using modern AI-assisted development tools and coding agents as part of the engineering workflow
