Expert Concept Artist

CD PROJEKT RED is a company dedicated to creating revolutionary, story-driven RPGs. The role is within the Brand Creative team contributing to marketing content for CD PROJEKT RED's intellectual properties, including The Witcher and Cyberpunk universes.

• 7+ years of professional experience in concept art, visual development, or pre-visualization in games, film, TV, or animation.
• Expert skills in concept art, digital painting, illustration, composition, anatomy, perspective, architecture, shape language, color theory, and visual storytelling.
• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and experience with Blender, Maya, or ZBrush.
• Strong understanding of game development and cinematic production pipelines.
• Ability to explore and iterate on visual concepts quickly while maintaining artistic direction.
• Experience providing artistic leadership, mentoring artists, or leading concept development.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management abilities.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Knowledge of Unreal Engine 5 is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of The Witcher and Cyberpunk universes is highly desirable.

• Develop concept sketches, illustrations, digital paintings, mood paintings, keyframes, storyboards, paint-overs, and pre-visualization assets based on scripts and creative briefs.
• Design characters, environments, props, creatures, and cinematic scenes.
• Define and communicate visual direction for trailers, animated shorts, key art, and marketing content.
• Collaborate with Brand, Franchise, Game Development teams, writers, storyboard artists, and other creative partners.
• Adapt existing game assets and visual language for marketing and promotional content.
• Provide expert guidance through concept development and review artistic direction.
• Present creative concepts to artistic and non-artistic stakeholders.
• Collaborate with external studios, agencies, artists, and production partners.
• Mentor other concept artists, share knowledge, and contribute to the discipline's development.
