Senior Data Scientist (m/f/d)

Sport Alliance is a market-leading company in the Fitness and SaaS industry, serving thousands of fitness businesses and millions of members with products like Magicline and PerfectGym Next.

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience building and deploying machine learning solutions in production.
• Strong knowledge of statistics and classical ML, with good judgment on approach selection.
• Experience owning ML projects end-to-end: data preparation, modelling, deployment, and monitoring.
• Strong hands-on skills in Python (scikit-learn or similar frameworks) and SQL.
• Proactive, comfortable working on partially undefined problems.
• Clear communication skills with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
• English language proficiency at C1 level or above.

Nice to have:

• Experience with AWS, Terraform, or dbt.
• Experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs) or Generative AI solutions.
• German language skills.

• Build and deploy production-ready ML solutions, focusing on classical ML and statistical methods.
• Own ML models end-to-end, including data pipelines, modelling, deployment, and monitoring.
• Improve scalability and reliability of existing ML data pipelines.
• Collaborate with software engineers and product managers to turn business problems into practical ML solutions.
• Serve as the Data Science expert in a team with data engineers and analysts.
• Identify opportunities for ML and Generative AI to solve product and business problems.
• Work with platform and LLM Ops teams for infrastructure support.
• Influence and help shape the ML and AI roadmap across products.
