Power BI Senior Developer

Energix Polska is a leading renewable energy developer and independent green energy producer, part of the international Energix Renewable Energies group listed on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (Poland, USA, Israel, Lithuania). In Poland, the company manages a portfolio of over 340 MW of wind and photovoltaic assets, including FW Banie — the second largest wind farm in the country. In December 2025, they launched Nowe Czarnowo I — the first large-scale energy storage system (BESS) with URE concession in Poland (24 MW / 56 MWh), awarded the "Energy Storage Laurel PSME" in the Project of the Year category.

• Minimum 4 years of commercial experience with Power BI and DAX.
• Very good knowledge of Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
• Advanced understanding of DAX, including context transition, filter functions (ALL, ALLEXCEPT, KEEPFILTERS, REMOVEFILTERS), additive and non-additive measures, and calculation groups.
• Strong knowledge of dimensional modeling: star schema, surrogate keys, SCD type 2, avoiding snowflake schema and many-to-many relationships where possible.
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including at least intermediate Power Query skills.
• Practical experience working with time series data (15-minute intervals, time zones, daylight saving time adjustments) and correct aggregation semantics.
• Precision and attention to data accuracy.
• Ability to independently document work.
• Experience in the energy sector or in analysis and reporting from SCADA or measurement systems.
• English language proficiency minimum B2 for technical documentation and daily communication.

Nice to have:

• Basic knowledge of SQL for reading diagnostic views.
• Versioning experience for reports.
• Portfolio, demo, or description of models built, respecting NDA constraints.

• Migrating existing Excel reports to Power BI and designing new, automated, and efficient reports and dashboards.
• Building and maintaining DAX measure layers according to defined standards and conventions.
• Co-creating semantic data models.
• Optimizing the performance of models and reports.
• Documenting measures and models within the model and in the repository.
• Maintaining and supporting existing Excel reports during migration (approximately 20–30% of time in first 18 months, gradually decreasing).
