Azure Hybrid Cloud Architect / Senior Azure Platform Engineer

The position involves designing and developing Microsoft Azure hybrid cloud environments including Azure Public Cloud, Azure Stack Hub, and Azure Local, with a focus on security, compliance, and maintainability.

• Multiple years of practical experience designing, architecting, implementing, or maintaining hybrid cloud platforms
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure Public Cloud, Azure Stack Hub, and Azure Local
• Practical experience with Azure services such as App Service, WebJobs, Key Vault, Storage Accounts, and Azure SQL
• Advanced skills with Infrastructure as Code using PowerShell and ARM Templates
• Experience working with Azure DevOps including Repositories, Pipelines, and Team Projects
• Strong troubleshooting and complex problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of cybersecurity, information security, and compliance
• Experience creating architectural, operational, and security documentation
• Very good professional English language skills
• Ability to work independently, organize work efficiently, and collaborate with technical and business teams

Nice to have:

• Experience with Microsoft .NET applications and multi-tier architecture
• Microsoft certifications related to Azure, especially: Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, Azure DevOps Engineer
• Certifications related to Hybrid Cloud
• Knowledge of German language

• Design and develop architecture for Microsoft Azure Public Cloud, Azure Stack Hub, and Azure Local environments
• Analyze requirements and select solutions considering security, compliance, and maintainability
• Create automation and Infrastructure as Code solutions using PowerShell and ARM Templates
• Develop and deploy new Azure services, including support for AKS on Azure Local
• Plan and support application and database migration including migration and rollback strategies
• Analyze and resolve complex incidents as part of 3rd line support including root cause analysis
• Produce technical, operational, and security documentation and share knowledge with maintenance teams
• Work with Azure DevOps including repositories, pipelines, and deployment processes
