Senior QA Lead

• 15+ years of QA experience in Agile and Waterfall models managing large, complex projects.
• Design, develop, and execute test strategies, plans, and cases for ETL and data migration projects.
• Ability to strategize and execute end-to-end testing.
• Experience with Azure Dev Ops and Test Management Tools including requirements traceability, test plans, labs, and defect management.
• Skilled in various testing types including Unit, Smoke/Sanity, Functional, System, SIT, Integration, Regression, and UAT support.
• Experience creating scalable test framework designs for multiple teams.
• Hands-on approach with capability to do testing as required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work closely with product managers, developers, business analysts, designers, and testers.
• Experience coaching team members in test strategy and creating automated and manual test frameworks.
• Familiar with functional, regression, interface/integration testing, and UAT.
• Proactive, organized, risk-aware, and able to ensure quality deliverables meet timelines.
• Experience working in virtual teams across time, geographic, and cultural boundaries.
• Leadership and change-driving capabilities.
• Experience identifying and implementing process improvements.
• Expertise with relational and data warehouse databases, skilled in SQL query authoring.
• Experienced with data engineering technologies including ADLS, ADF, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL, Synapse, and SAP HANA.
• Skilled in scripting languages: Python, SQL, Spark-SQL, and PySpark.
• Experience developing and enhancing automated test suites using Python, SQL, PySpark or Spark SQL.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and visualization tools like PowerBI and QlikSense.
• Knowledge in data science including AI/ML, NLP, GenAI, and Agentic AI.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience.
• Relevant testing certifications (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus.

• Develop and implement comprehensive Test strategies and best practices to align with project and business objectives.
• Manage and mentor a team of test engineers and QA professionals.
• Identify and implement improvements in testing processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Lead test automation efforts and promote automation tools and frameworks.
• Collaborate with project managers, development teams, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure testing activities comply with quality standards and report on progress and quality metrics.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to testing processes and project deadlines.
• Collect and analyze data to identify trends and improve testing processes; validate data integrity and transformation logic.
• Manage relationships with external vendors and suppliers if applicable.
