Administrator ds. middleware (k/m/n)

Polskie Sieci Elektroenergetyczne S.A. is the employer. The position relates to administration in the field of middleware and database systems.

• Higher education
• Minimum 7 years of experience in implementing and maintaining IT systems in the database and/or middleware area
• Good practical knowledge of MS SQL Server or PostgreSQL
• Experience working with Java application servers such as Java Tomcat, JBoss, or WebSphere
• Knowledge of queueing systems such as ArtemisMQ or IBM MQ
• Knowledge of data streaming platforms like Apache Kafka
• Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases
• Good knowledge of RedHat Enterprise Linux and Windows Server from application/database administrator perspective: service management, log analysis, basic configuration
• Experience with CI/CD tools, e.g., Microsoft Azure DevOps, for application deployment and change management
• Understanding and practical skills with automation processes using tools like Terraform and Ansible
• Knowledge of three-tier architecture and microservices-based application structure
• English language proficiency at least at B1 level
• Ability to work in a team and good communication skills

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of high availability and disaster recovery (HA/DR) strategies, multidatacenter solutions
• Experience with cloud solutions
• Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Zabbix or ELK
• Understanding of DevOps and/or ITIL practices

• Participation in implementing solutions in the middleware and CSIRE database area
• Managing middleware and database solutions in a 24/7 mode
• Updating technical documentation related to middleware and databases
