Platform Engineer

Join an engineering team at one of the world's leading financial institutions in Wrocław building a brand-new in-house platform for electronic communications surveillance. The platform processes large volumes of unstructured data, generates model-driven alerts, and provides a user interface for reviewers. It is a strategic, regulatory-critical system developed by small, autonomous agile pods.

• 6+ years of professional experience
• Bachelor's degree
• Strong PostgreSQL skills including SQL, troubleshooting, and operational support
• Practical scripting skills in Unix and Bash for automation, deployments, and operations
• Experience with Azure Data Factory for data integration, orchestration, and pipeline monitoring
• Knowledge of DevOps, source control, and CI/CD pipelines ideally using GitLab
• Skills in automation and incident diagnosis across distributed applications
• Experience with Elasticsearch and/or Cloudera
• Good English communication skills

Nice to have:

• Java development experience
• Hands-on use of AI-assisted development tools for coding, testing, troubleshooting, or documentation

• Automate recurring operational and support tasks using Unix tools, Bash, and Azure services
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and restore applications in production
• Fix root causes of production issues to prevent recurrence
• Develop and maintain data pipelines with Azure-based data workflows integrating PostgreSQL and Azure Data Factory
• Improve observability, resilient design, runbooks, and production-readiness standards
• Deliver secure, maintainable, and compliant solutions meeting functional and non-functional requirements
• Utilize AI-assisted tools for coding, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation
