Senior Application Manager

Upvanta sp. z o.o. is a company offering a role focused on managing SAP applications related to Product Compliance and SAP EHS in functional areas.

• Several years of experience with SAP as Functional Analyst, Application Manager, or similar functional role.
• Practical knowledge of SAP Product Compliance, SAP EHS or related HSE/HESQ processes.
• Experience in SAP Application Management, BAU, and Application Support.
• Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP functional requirements.
• Experience coordinating changes, integrations, testing, and business validation.
• Experience collaborating with external SAP vendors.
• Ability to verify and challenge the quality of vendor work.
• Knowledge of incident, change, and release management processes.
• Very good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Independence and responsibility for assigned area.
• Fluent English (B2 level).

Nice to have:

• Experience in SAP S/4HANA brownfield conversion or migration projects.
• Experience with SAP Fiori.
• Knowledge of Product Compliance regulations, especially Fertilising Products Regulation.
• Experience with other HSE/Product Compliance applications.
• Experience with ServiceNow.
• Knowledge of SAP ChaRM.
• ITIL knowledge.
• Experience working with offshore or distributed SAP support teams.
• Experience in outsourcing environments.

• Serve as functional expert and liaison between business, SAP teams, and IT.
• Own ongoing application management and BAU in the SAP Product Compliance area.
• Analyze business needs and translate them into SAP functional requirements.
• Support projects and integrations related to Product Compliance.
• Participate in solution design, testing, and validation.
• Develop and improve custom SAP Fiori applications supporting compliance.
• Coordinate external SAP vendor work including task delegation, follow-up, and quality verification.
• Support incident handling, service requests, and changes as senior functional escalation point.
• Plan and execute changes as part of BAU releases and projects.
• Collaborate with related applications including EcoPortal, Sphera, and OCC.
• Coordinate maintenance, upgrades, patching, and security vulnerability activities.
• Work with business on process standardization, solution adoption, and continuous improvement.
• Support initiatives related to SAP S/4HANA conversion.
• Support change management and business users as needed.
