Senior Software Engineer

• BS degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering required; post-graduate technical degree desired.
• More than 5 years of experience in related field including post-graduate experience.
• Strong knowledge of embedded software development for power electronics systems.
• Proven experience with MW-scale converter/inverter platforms.
• Solid understanding of control theory implementation for power converters (current, voltage, power, DC-link control).
• Experience with real-time systems, including scheduling, interrupts, and timing constraints.
• Knowledge of digital control effects such as sampling, delays, discretization, and numerical limits.
• Proficiency in C/C++ for embedded and real-time applications.
• Experience with DSPs, MCUs, or SoCs used in high-power converter control.
• Familiarity with communication protocols and industrial fieldbuses.
• Experience with SIL and HIL testing and system-level testing.
• Understanding grid-connected converter behavior and grid code requirements.
• Ability to define software architecture and integration approaches for complex converter systems.
• Strong system-level thinking and cross-functional collaboration skills.

• Develop embedded and real-time software architectures for MW-scale converters/inverters.
• Define software architecture, task scheduling, and interfaces for converter/inverter control platforms.
• Implement control algorithms including inner current loops, outer voltage, and power functions in collaboration with control engineering.
• Support definition of converter/inverter topology, control realization, and system integration for new products.
• Implement state machines, fault handling, protection mechanisms, and diagnostics.
• Optimize software for real-time performance, determinism, numerical robustness, and reliability.
• Implement and maintain communication interfaces such as CAN, EtherCAT, Ethernet, SPI, UART.
• Support grid code requirements (LVRT/HVRT, fault ride-through, reactive power support) via software.
• Validate software through SIL, HIL, and assist during prototype bring-up, commissioning, and field testing.
• Collaborate closely with system, control, hardware, and test teams to optimize performance, robustness, and scalability.
