Programista - React Native Developer (K/M)

Polskie Radio is the largest public radio broadcaster in Poland with a nearly 100-year history. They produce and broadcast various original music, publicistic, educational, social, entertainment, family, religious programs, radio dramas, and reports. Technologically, they are pioneers in DAB+ development and broadcast via the internet and mobile applications. Their programs include Jedynka, Dwójka, Trójka, Czwórka, Polskie Radio 24, Polskie Radio Dzieciom, Polskie Radio Kierowców, Polskie Radio Chopin, and others. They also promote Polish culture and organize concerts and charity activities.

• Minimum 3 years of commercial experience developing mobile applications with React Native and TypeScript.
• Strong knowledge of React Native, React, and TypeScript and experience building and maintaining iOS and Android applications.
• Experience with Expo SDK / EAS or similar build and app publishing processes.
• Practical knowledge of state management and API data (e.g., TanStack Query) and integration with REST API.
• Ability to diagnose app performance and issues using Xcode and Android Studio.
• Basic skills in reading and modifying native code in Swift and Kotlin or willingness to work at the intersection of React Native and native layer.
• Experience in mobile app testing as well as knowledge of Git and CI/CD processes.
• Attention to code quality, architecture, accessibility, and user experience.
• Communicative, independent, and able to collaborate in a product team.

Nice to have:

• Experience in audio/video or streaming applications, including background playback, buffering, queues, media session, and handling playback interruptions.
• Integrations with Chromecast / Google Cast, CarPlay, or Android Auto.
• Experience with analytics and error monitoring tools (e.g., Firebase Analytics/GA4, Gemius, Sentry).
• Familiarity with Fastlane, EAS Build/Submit, or other tools automating app release.
• Experience with Expo Config Plugins and native React Native modules.
• Knowledge of architectural patterns and modular approaches in larger apps.
• Practical use of AI tools supporting development with responsibility for code quality and security.

• Develop and maintain mobile applications for iOS and Android using React Native.
• Create features related to live radio, audio/video content, podcasts, archives, and user experience personalization.
• Design and develop components, modules, and integration with native iOS and Android system features.
• Integrate applications with APIs and backend services, collaborate on defining contracts and data models.
• Ensure performance, stability, availability, and quality of applications, including diagnosing production issues.
• Participate in code reviews and develop and maintain unit and integration tests.
• Collaborate with backend, frontend, UX/UI, and product teams throughout feature development.
• Participate in app publishing processes and maintain quality of releases in App Store and Google Play.
