AI / Product Engineer (remote work)

TuxCare provides security solutions for Linux and open-source software used by enterprise organisations. The Endless Lifecycle Support (ELS) team helps organizations securely continue using Linux distributions, programming language runtimes, and frameworks that have reached end of life and no longer receive standard security updates.

• 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience across different languages, frameworks, and environments.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Go, Java, Rust.
• Advanced usage of LLM-based AI tools for development, debugging, testing, refactoring, and code review.
• Strong Linux fundamentals and experience building, maintaining, and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines or runners.
• Product mindset with ability to clarify unclear requirements into technical plans and prioritize based on impact.
• Proven ownership experience shipping projects in high-accountability environments.
• Professional English communication skills with ability to explain technical trade-offs to stakeholders clearly.

• Own the design, development, delivery, and ongoing operation of internal intelligence systems.
• Translate broad business needs into technical plans, making decisions about architecture, implementation, and priorities.
• Proactively identify problems and opportunities for improvement.
• Work directly with stakeholders to understand needs, explain technical trade-offs, and communicate progress and risks.
• Use AI coding agents such as Claude Code and Codex as part of daily engineering workflow, independently reviewing, testing, and validating their output.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks across architecture, infrastructure, cloud resources, and observability.
• Take responsibility for system performance in production, including incident troubleshooting, monitoring improvements, and maintaining reliability.
